Bilateral Exchange (Partner university)
If your university has a bilateral exxchange agreement (national or international) with USM you can come for one or two semesters of exchange. Check with your home university if the agreement is restricted to certain academic areas or to certain USM campuses.
Independent Exchange (Direct enrollment)
If you want to do an exchange semestar or year at USM and your university does not have an exchange agreement with us, you can apply as an independent exchange student. To find out the fees associated with the exchange under this conditions, please contact Paz Aranibar Sánchez, Incoming Mobility Coordinator.
Exchange via UMAP
As an active member of the UMAP International Network, students from universities that are part of this network are allowed to participate in academic exchanges for one or two semesters. This, without the need for your university to have a bilateral agreement.
The application process must be done through the UMAP platform, for more information check here.
